A Burn Unit is the minimum amount of Coiin required to burn. The Burn Unit is variable and can change as frequently as every 30 minutes and is primarily determined by changes to the overall supply of Coiin tokens. As more users burn Coiin tokens, the Burn Unit will decrease and allow more users to take advantage of a higher Validator Multiplier.
